Welcome to the unofficial Eden Foodival Website. Here you'll be able to find reaction to the Eden Foodival and everything that's going on in the Eden Valley
Thanks to everyone who visited and contributed to the last Eden Foodival!
We were amazed by your spirit and thankfully the weather treated us kindly for the most part of the day!
The Eden Foodival is committed to not only celebrating the taste of the Eden Valley's food, but also the environmental benefits of sourcing and buying local produce. With support from , we are committed to continuing this green theme throughout our event. Recycling facilities will be available for as many waste materials as possible and we will be composting any waste food for Brough Primary School's new orchard.
The Eden Foodival welcomed visitors of all ages and disabilities. Our facilities included disabled toilets, meeting points (if you lose your friends), tables and seating (if you find a picnic blanket a little uncomfortable...) and first aid facilities (to make sure that no little accidents or injuries spoil your day)
To raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance, some of the Eden Valley's best chefs and restaurants have sponsored the Eden Foodival's first charity cookbook and shared some of their favourite recipes.
Perfect as a gift or just for yourself, collection recipes offers ingenious and tasty recipes for some of the Eden Valley's best ingredients. Whether you love a meaty main or have a delicate sweet tooth, this beautifully designed cookbook will satisfy your appetite.
The cookbook was on sale at the event and at selected local vendors and bookshops afterwards.
